Why this blog

ree

If you think writing a horror novel can be an emotional rollercoaster, you should try marketing! I've just hopped onto this rocket and now feel like I'm inside a tumble dryer. If I'm not careful, I will end up with socks up my ... mouth.

In any case, here we go.

I'm a starting author, female, writing in the genre that's typically reserved to the beings with balls [if you're a woman writing scifi or horror - here's KUDOS! if you're a woman who writes scifi or horror novels without focusing on the romantic storylines - KUDOS KUDOS and fireworks in your honour!], and as an introvert, I've always had a strong but small crowd. I call them an elite club of supporters. They are all awesome human beings and deserve to be the main characters in each and every of my novels.

I'm not sure they will like it.

So, this blog is all about my attempts to find and gather my crowd. If you love black humour, don't get easily offended, want to test the limits of your squirmishness, and understands the extends of your morality - "The Synchrotron" is a book for you. Welcome to the crowd!

If not, tag along anyway, there's more to it than just spilled guts and merry gore.

I started this blog to tell my fellow authors - existing or incoming - about my struggles so that they could learn from me and don't repeat my mistakes. Or if they want, they should repeat the same mistakes, and I'll find them in the same swampy ditch. At least, we will have a lovely company, right, fellows?

Another reason to stay is that I promise to be very honest.

I hate social networks. I just don't know how it works. If people are worried about the AI exterminating humans, they probably should question those algorithms, constantly conspiring against humans?

I still have 16 followers on Instagram. They are ALL my friends. Thank you, mom :) [This is actually a lie because my mom has no idea what instagram is]

All the same people graze my pastures on Facebook and a lovely lady who wanted to sell me her services. Anyone needs a book trailer?

I have 2 followers on Tiktok. No bloody idea how that happened. They just flooded in, and my pretty face has nothing to do with it because I did a few more videos with the same face and it didn't work....

Hm.

I have 13 amazing subscribers on my mailing list, and wonderfully, I don't know 2 of them! I wish I could have a special "Subscriber of the month" wall for them. Should I?

And with this amazing start - here we go.
